Our Anger Management Seminars and Workshops are available throughout Illinois, including Chicago, Aurora, Rockford, Decatur, Naperville, Peoria and Springfield. Our anger management workshops, seminars, and courses are court certified and participants may receive CEU credits from The National Association of Drug and Alcohol Counselors as well as from many other associations, organizations, and institutions.

Court Mandated Anger Counseling Classes -- Two-day Anger Management Training Class -- Five-evening Anger Management Anger Training Class -- Certified Anger Resolution Therapist Training Classes are available in a standard format that we can offer your employees in house or we can customize complete training programs for your company or organization. Rockford

Rockford, Illinois, was first settled in 1834-1835 by Germanicus Kent, Thatcher Blake, and Lewis Lemon, all of whom came from Galena and established themselves on the west bank of Rock River; and Daniel Shaw Haight, who founded a settlement on the east bank. (Lemon, a slave, later bought his freedom, but stayed in the area as a truck farmer.)

The Illinois Domestic Violence Act of 1986 focused more government effort on this problem. These efforts were further bolstered by recent Illinois Supreme Court rulings putting more “teeth” into the law by effectively mandating that law enforcement act to protect victims of domestic abuse. According to Illinois law, police officers must take steps to protect a victim of domestic abuse whenever a family or household member has committed any act of abuse.

The Elder Abuse and Neglect act was written into Illinois law in 1988 and provides that people who report suspected abuse or cooperate with an investigation are not subject to criminal or civil liability or professional disciplinary action. It further provides that the identity of the reporter shall not be disclosed without the written permission of the reporter or by order of a court. Anonymous reports are accepted.
